TikiFunBoat's Covid-19 Protocols:
TikiFunBoats boat rental in Newport Beach is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest information from credible sources such as FEMA, FDA, the marina associations, and various government agencies that provides real-time updates related to this pandemic. This includes assessing business operations, our employees at work, ensuring a safe workplace, and a safe cruise.
We will continue to update key safety practices as new information becomes available.
TikiFunBoats best practices:
- We only use EPA-approved disinfectants
- Premises are frequently wiped down and sanitized before, during, and after each cruise
- All contact surfaces and counters are cleaned, disinfected and sanitized (door knobs, handles, tabletops, bar stools, etc)
- Boats are equipped with hand sanitizer, gloves, masks for those who do not have any.
- Boat crew who report to work are in good health. They are not allowed to work if they have any symptoms associated with COVID-19, they are instructed to stay home.
- Maximum 6 people aboard
- We do not raft up to other boats or pull up onto a beach close to another boat that has occupants
- We keep our distance on the water
- Encourage passengers to frequently sanitize their hands during the cruise
- Staggered boat cruise times
Pandemic self-check BEFORE booking and BEFORE cruising with TikiFunBoats:
- No symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, or runny nose
- No unnecessary contact in groups outside of home and work
- All passengers have washed their hands and sanitized prior to boarding
- Pack hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and disposable gloves
- Boating plans are with immediate family members
During the boat cruise:
- Space out seating and practice social distance
